YG 200924. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, alcohol, tonka, cardamon, vanilla, chocolate. Nice beer.

Can. An almost black one, seems unclear, with a dense light tan head of moderate size. The flavor is perfumed and flowery, spiced, alcoholic, with tonka and a good dash of cinnamon. Ginger too. Some brown sugar, molasses and licorice. It's full bodied and warming, semi sweet and spiced, with roasted malts, some coffee and dark chocolate and cinnamon flavors. Tonka, ginger and some vanilla. Lasting finish. Perhaps a bit sweet, but nice. Bears the age. 240920

Can.pitch black colour with small beige head.Aroma is sweet roasted and toasted with hint of chocolate and candy smooth and warming taste not bad.

I det jeg spretter 0,33 boksen i luke 11 (Statens Julekalender) stiger pirrende dufter av vaniljen og kanel opp, dessverre akkompagnert av de søtlige og parfymerte tonkabønnene. Smaken er likedan - mørke sjokolader, kakao, kanel (et av mine favorittkrydder), syndige og seige produkter fra Karamelleriet i Jægersborggade, pluss de usjarmerende tonkabønnene. Ingefærkjeks i avslutningen? Jeg blir ikke helt klok på denne, men jeg akter ikke å foreta ytterligere grunnforskning uten ekstern finansiering.

Black, with a large light brown head. A good cinnamon aroma with some vanilla, chocolate and dried fruit sense. Sweet with a clear cinnamon end. Like bb 10.2031 Vinmonopolet.no 11.2021

150ml draught at Hopyard. Upper part lacing on the glass from a low, fawn-coloured head, jet black body. Malt driven aroma, spiced with cinnamon. Quite similar taste of chocolate malts added by cinnamon and a bite of ginger. Spiced dark malty ending, spiced and smoothly roasted. Nice, just a tad too spicy. (Oslo 03.11.2021).
