Draught @ Bryggeri Helsinki Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of juicy tropical fruits, citrus, pine, grass, citrus, toffee and caramel. Taste is fruity, hoppy and malty with some hints of caramel, pine, toffee, citrus and lemon. Finish is hoppy, a bit stuffy and sweetish with some caramel, juicy fruits, toffee and tropical notes. Quite tasty, but just a tad unbalanced and stuffy, slightly too sweet. Almost, but not quite.

330 ml bottle. Pours clear amber. Aroma has some overly ripened fruits, almost becoming a cider but stopping one step short. Sweet orange marmalade. Taste is full of mango, passion fruit and ripened banana. I like tropical fruits and here I get them in abundance. Fruit basket. Body is full, balancing the hop character quite nicely. Interesting beer, slow sipper as it is, I guess showcasing Nelson Sauvin at its best. Can understand why this beer is quite divisive though.

Tap @ Bryggeri Helsinki. Deep amber, thin white head. Herbal on the nose, white peppery, pine. Stuffy. Flavor has pine, caramel, gooseberries. Stuffy, heavy stuff. Bitter, but on the sweeter side. Slight disappointment.

Draught @ Bryggeri Helsinki. Aroma as strong strawberry jam notes and quite nothing else. Flavour has somewhat tart strawberries, some grapefruit, grainy malt and hints of cereal. Finishes with lingering herbal bitterness. Too much strawberries here and palate is a bit too sticky.

0,33L bottle, batch 053, BB 09.08.15 (from Tallinna Kaubamaja). Pours amber with off-white head. The small head stays. Aroma is tropical fruits, mango, burnt sugar, caramel candy. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, tropical fruits, citrus, candy. Finish is sweet and dry-piney bitter. Alcohol is well covered. Overall: nice one. Rating: 8:4:7:3:14=3.6 (Rated 14.02.2015) Batch 322, bb 17.04.17 (new recipe). Looks about the same. Aroma is harsher, bit farty, mango, citrus. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, caramel, booze, some vegetables. Finish is citric-dry bitter. Drinkability isn’t very good, feels harsh and unbalanced. Like it a lot less than the previous version. Rating: 6:4:6:3:10=2.9 First batch 2.5 years later. Still good, maybe even more than 3.6. It has turned into kind of barley wineish brew. Too bad I don’t have another bottle, I think this could be turn into something beautiful with some more years.

33cl bottle at Art Café, Rakvere. Pours clear deep amber with an off-white head. Strong hoppy and fruity aroma with notes of tropical fruits with pine, herbs, caramel and malt. Sweet and fruity, but well balanced and somewhat smooth with a nice a bitter finish. Tasty and well crafted, but I guess Nelson Sauvin is not my favourite hop, but it?s still a delicious DIPA!
