ABV: 4.0%. Clear medium to dark red amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, caramel, sweet malt, nutty, malty, hops bitter, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 500ml bottle. Clear, amber-ish, ruby red colour with average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow, minimally toasty, malty and slightly fruity hoppy aroma, a touch of red berries, cherry, pumpernickel. Taste is mellow, minimally toasty, bready malty, slightly bitter and fruity, minimally metallic hoppy, a touch of grey bread and pumpernickel, red berries; dry, minimally metallic finish. Watery texture, dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Minimally ephemeral flavours, light, drinkable, very nice colour - OK.

50cl bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of red malt, caramel, nuts, some spruce. Taste of caramelized red malt, some liquorice, nuts, moderate bitterness.

Auburn with a frothy head. Aroma full of licorice with mild berry undertones. Taste is mildly sweet with a modest, watered-down grainy bitterness at the finish. Light-bodied, watery texture, mildish carbonation. Promising start, but the wateriness robs it of character.

Sehr sehr malzig, sehr sehr karamellig - fast schon Malzbier, mittig kommt aber etwas unrund ein Zwischengeschmack dazu, fast metallisch. Insgesamt ist das Malz aber sehr mächtig überlagernd. Okay.
