Hints of oxidation but just hints, lovely chocolate and caramel maple notes all over, vanilla from the barrel, gnarly good. Also took a 📃 from FlandersNed 's 📒 and dropped some Blanton's in it, my first (from memory at least) pairing as such, delish!

30/XI/24 - 500ml bottle @ Jürgen’s place, BB: 26/VII/26, 2021 vintage, 18M B.A., lot: GI 09:40 (2024-1237) Thanks to Jürgen for sharing the bottle!
Clear dark brown to black beer, practically no head. Aroma: very oxidized, lots and lots of soy sauce, caramel, good roast, lots of dried fruits, dark chocolate, cocoa powder. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of alcohol up front, caramel, dark chocolate, malty, more chocolate, a bit sweet, lots of dried fruits, sugary, whisky, vanilla. Aftertaste: sugary, alcohol, lots of chocolate, vanilla, very nice, good roast, a little bitter, more chocolate, very nice, good stuff!

500ml (thx, Matt!) @ Sales Force. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: American oak, some sweetness, just a bit of dark fruits. Taste: thicker than many of the other BCBS I've had recently, oak forward, some nice candies and vanilla from the oak. Overall: probably one of the best BCBC variants released lately, thicker than others, and has a nice complexity.

Dark brown, thin head. There's some nice brown sugar on the nose, a fair bit of barrel, a bit of chocolate. The palate has a much deeper dark sugar note, bringing date molasses, big sugars, light raisin, this is great stuff.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of soft bourbon barrels courtesy of the Blanton's, with some molasses, and a bit of heat. Flavour is rich, with a decadent bourbon barrel character, lots of oak, some lightly burnt dark sugars, and medium roast. Good oaky barrel character, but I'm failing to see how this an improvement over the regular BCBS. I mean, it's great, but not world-class.

Poured from 1 pint .9 fl oz bottle. Very dark brown with very minimal beige head. Woody bourbon upfront with mild baking spices and molasses in the background, well balanced, very nice.

500ml bottle pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is nice rich chocolate bourbon barrel wow. Taste is more of the nice chocolate rich barrel kick. Another great Goose
Medium body, a bit sweet, smooth. Strong bourbon, nice barrel, chocolate and coffee, vanilla, some caramel. Excellent.

Flavor is malts, roasted malts, light coffee, heavy bourbon again, bitter, malt bitter. Awesome. So full flavored. Very very good. 8-9-8,5-8-9.
