Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Clear copper colour, mid sized head. Aroma of supermarket strawberry jam. Overly sweet with medium to full body and rounded, somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Some starchy malt, loads of strawberry which kills off everything else in its way. Simplistic beer cocktail

Bottle. Lots of cherry, artificial feeling. Little else, sweetish too. Tasty, drinkable, ABV hidden well, but a nice womanly alcohol delivery system. Goodish.

Can (from Alko web). Red colour with a mediumsized pink foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is cherry juice, and quite sweet overall. Flavour is cherries with some mild parfumed tones and a bit sweet grains to it.

33 cl bottle stated at 8%. A hazy maroon pour with a rocky, abundant but short-lived, pale pinkish head. Aroma is cherry jam, cherry candy, sliced bread, apricot. Despite the nose, in the mouth it proves to be dry, albeit the strong cherry aroma tricks your brain (not your tongue) into trying to believe it's sweet. It is not, and neither is it sour, just crisp. Quite bitter and slightly boozy finish. Medium to low-lasting aftertaste with more cherries.

Bottled 330ml (Alko web)
Red colour, big pinky head. Cherry and paper in the nose. Medium-bodied. Belgium yeast esters and strong cherry flavour. Even a bit boozy at the finish. Quite simple and sweet.

On tap @ the abby, shared with Hilde. Clear ruby red with a small pink head. Heavy cherry aroma. Sweet taste with a warming low bitter finish.

Small, if rather stable, darker pink head over hazy ruby-terra cotta beer. Not unattractive fruity nose with strawberry and cherries, plywood. Cherry pie - if drier - , parsley. Sweet, cherrysyrup or -jam, brown candi sugar, milkchocolate, parsley, caramel, fruitbushes. Medium bodied, faint alcoholwarming, very well-carbonated, slick to sticky. Neither the best, neither the worst of the fruit syrup brews. It's OK, if not served too lukewarm. Available @ Delhaize supermarkets.
