Bottle looks wonderful. Beer in the glass quite dark, huge head. Starts malty, not too dry or roasty, more fruity. Notes of berries, some raisins. Also some chocolate notes. Finish mild, notes could be a bit more intense. But very drinkable and a great beer!

Bottle: Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, big - slowly collapsing - beige fluffy head; slightly fruity-yeasty, but mainly nutty-caramelly nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, creamy MF; roasted malt in the caramelly-chocolatey finish. Surprisingly good..............

[75cl bottle] Cloudy, orange-amber colour with a huge and light-beige foamy head. Yeasty and moderately sweet and toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, cacao powder and herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Solid toast-malty base, slightly bready, yeasty and minimal worty taste with notes of cacao and caramel. Medium-dry, malt-accented and toasty finish with a tinge of doughy sourness and bitter hops. Decent Dunkel [16.I.09].
