Bottle split at the Autumn Watford tasting, picked up online, 24/09/21. As Der Blau Page. Clear golden with a good sized white head. Nose is sweet malts, grains, breads, straw, biscuit. Taste comprises pale malts, light floral notes, sugars, caramel, straw, grains, cereals, trace of honey. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok bock if lacking some complexity.

Bottle shared in Watford - cheers to Cloin. Pours crystal clear yellow with a small, bubbly white head. Medium sweet flavour, nice biscuits, white bread, straw, a little honey. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Sweet finish, more biscuits. Not bad.

Bottle shared at Watford tasting. Many thanks to Colin for this one. A bright clear gold coloured pour with a nice white froth. Aroma is semi sweet, clear bready grains, grass, lager notes.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, bready, grains, earthy cereal, grassy hop, light tang. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, highish carbonation. Nice bready finish.

330ml bottle as Der Blau Page. It pours clear yellow with a medium frothy white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, sugary, custard creams, lager shandy, white bread and grain. The taste is sweet and thick, some dryness, sugary, white bread, grain, biscuit, custard creams, slap of booze, splash of lemonade, grass and grainy spice with some alcohol on the finish. Medium+ body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Simple and straight forward, but I kind of like that tbh. Good boost level.

As ''Der Blaue Page''. Clear deep golden colour, tall frothy white to off-white head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma sweet malt, grain, corn, fruity hops. Taste light light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, light alcohol notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, bit cardboard, peppery notes, nice mild bock.

Bottle from The Curious Hop, Otley. Label as 'Der Blaue Page' 33cl bottle. Pours a clear light golden colour with a thick throthy white head. Light gentle carbonation. Aromas of grains, straw, honey and bread. Taste is sweet with more bread, honey, some lemon, hints of floral and also some metallic notes. Fullish body with a smooth mouthfeel and some grassy bitterness on the finish. Not very nice if I'm honest.

Aroma is herbal with bonbon malt and lots of hay. Taste is sweet malt with a little herbal taste. Quite balanced. Not very complex.
