Clear amber. Aroma is bready malty some grassy hops lots of maltose and black bread. Taste is sweet juicy malt sugars with good grainy bread bitterness. Drinkable and balanced. Nice.

Bottle. Amber color. Malty aroma with cakedough. Malty, flowery, light hopbiter flavor. Some cake dough showing up again in the aftertaste. Typical Franconian. Tasty, malty sweet and almost fat.

Direkt im Sterna getrunken, urig hier. Optisch schönes Kupfer, im Trunk schön Karamell, kernig, süffig, klasse Kastenbier. Löffler nei wie nix.

Cask at Zum Franziskaner. Clear dark golden with a creamy white head. Aroma and taste of bread, grain, malt and hints of fruit. The mouthfeel was on the soft side and the finish medium bitter.
