On tap at Lervig Local, Stavanger. Pours clear dark copper with little off-white head. Aroma of caramel, diacetyl, notes of dark bread. Taste has some sweetness and balancing bitterness. Thin bodied. Pretty boring beer, with too much diacetyl, probably due to poorly maintained tapping lines.

Color castaño oscuro, bajo una cremosa espuma beige claro de media retención. Aroma interesante a galleta de jengibre, malta, caramelo y una curiosa nota como a cantalupo o melón maduro que también recuerdo haber felizmente detectado en la Sant Bernardus 6. Cuerpo medio en boca, textura con sensación de entrada levemente acuosa, pero que termina expandiendo bien y 'agarrándose' al paladar, en parte gracias a su fina y ligeramente punzante carbonatación. Notas de malta tostada, caramelo, pasas, galleta , una puntita ligera de regaliz, especias...Dulce de fondo, final amargo, seco y con cierto matiz herbal. Sinceramente, muy rica

Can. Taste is nutty, bready, caramel, nutty, hint of ash rye. Drinkable but with a short finish. Gone before you realise. What has happened to Lervig over the last few years I can't remember the last beer that was anything other than passable?

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear ruby, mid sized head. Ashy, toasty nose. Dry with light body and clean, rock hard mouthfeel. Sharp and ashy, razor thin. Resinous metallic finish.

ABV: 4.7%. Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is malty, dark malt, toasted - roasted, caramel sweet, anis seed, light bread. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, caramel, dark malt, anis seed, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20240326]
