330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, creamy, beige head. Roasty, chocolately, minimally ashy, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, coffee, cocoa. Taste is sweet-ish, roasty, chocolately, dark malty, slightly fruity, notes of dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, some coffee, plum. Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, fine, soft carbonation.

330ml bottle. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla. Taste of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, dark fruit, lactose, very creamy, bittersweet. Not a big fan of the coffee used in this it's very fruity which usually doesn't work well in stouts for me, but other than that it's a good stout.

Keg, 1/3 pint shared with Finn, drink-in at Beerfly. Black in the glass, naked on the surface, scattered lacing. Inviting aromas of roasted chocolate malts. mid-sweet. Dark malt-driven taste profile with impacts of chocolate and liquorice followed by coffee-chocolate towards the finish, nicely roasted. Rather sweet in the long rune, but still a tasty and well bodied drink.(Bedford 18.11.2021).

On tap. Pours black with little head. Aromas of rich dark chocolate, nougat and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with bitter dark chocolate, a touch of lactose and marshmallows. Great stuff.
