11/3/2023. Can shared at our hotel in Rugby. Bought direct from the Brewery. Pours clear dark amber brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, toffee, stewed fuits, charcoal. Quite sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, slightly creamy, quite lively. Found the beers from this brewery generally disappointing, with this one being the best we tried today.

Can. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are candy sugar, caramel, yeast, dried fruits, malt and hops. Sweet finish.

Can from Brewpoint webshop. Clear brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dried fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 110323

Can from the brewery online shop, at 9.0%. Pours clear ruby with a short-lived thin beige head. Aromas of caramel, fudge, roasted nuts. Taste is vanilla, fudge, warming booziness. Sweet finish.

Keg, 1/3 pint on a sample tray, shared with Finn at Brewpoint. Patches on the surface of a ruby, dark brown body, scattered lacing. Nutty aromas, hints of chocolate malts, promising. Quite well balanced taste profile of dried fruits and chocolate-caramel. Smoothly roasted malty sweetness to the ending, warming down the swallow. Decent sipper, just a tad too sweet in the long run. Delt med Rune. Mørk amber. Filmskum med litt farge. God karamellaroma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken sirup & fiken. Søt malt i avslutninga.

Keg draught at Brewpoint, Bedford. Reddish light brown, clear with a ring of beige head. Sweet, malty aroma, with some caramel and treacle. Sweet and just a little bit cloying with notes of golden syrup. Strong boozy finish with a little stone fruit in the aftertaste. Flat body. I like this.
