An easy drinking, on point, crisp pale ale that is full of character. Expect bright tropical and citrus hop flavours on a light malt base with low bitterness.

11/3/2023. Can shared at our hotel in Rugby. Bought direct from the Brewery. Pours clear bright golden with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, grassy, hops, fruity edge. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness and body. Watery and fizzy. Not the best.

Keg at the Flint Cottage, HWY, 01/05/22. Clear golden with a decent just off white head. Nose is melon, tangerine, toasted malts, straw. Taste comprises orange zest, pale malts, citric tinged straw, melon, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with modest hop bitterness. Passable pale ... entry level pale ...not terrible as you'd expect from a big brewer but nothing to revisit.

Keg, 1/3 pint on a sample tray, shared with Finn at Brewpoint. A bright warm golden body under a filmy layer, lacing rings down the glass. Aromas of lemony hops and grainy malts. Lemony hops mingled with mid-sweet malts to the taste buds. Distant bitterness to a ripe fruity ending. Easy to drink. Fair enough. (Bedford 18.11.2021)

Keg at the Flint Cottage, Wycombe. Rich gold colour with a white head and a light fizz. Pleasant enough tropical fruit aroma - mango and pineapple - diminishes considerably in the taste. Mild bitterness. Watery and rather bland. Inoffensive and forgettable.

330ml can delivered from the brewery and drunk at home. Mid-gold, ultra-clear with almost no head. White grape and lemon/lime notes in the aroma. Sweet, fruity taste with a light malty backbone and a tiny bit of bitterness in the finish. What can I say about this beer? Absolutely fine, if a bit dull.
