[9/6/2018] Draught at St. John in London. Hazy golden. Lager yeast, slightly vegetal, sulphur, bread, sweetish, mildly bitterish finish, rather light-bodied. OK.

Keg at source. A translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a a lasting white head. Aroma is earthy cereal, grass, light honey notes, leafy hop, little rubber. Flavour is composed of thin grainy cereal, honey, rubber, grassy hop grain husks. Palate is dry and crisp, highish airy carbonation,. Lingering earthy grains, grain husks. Note bad.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is sulphuric Zwickel flavours, grains, a touch earthy. Taste is sulphur, grainy, a touch farty, bready, rather sweet. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Certainly drinkable, and even rather authentic, but not too impressive.
