Tap. Pours hazy golden, medium puffy white head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is grassy, cereal grains, hint of hay and citrus. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter, grassy, clean. Light body.

On tap at Airbrau Munich airport. Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Lager malt aroma quite cereally. Then some interesting lemon hop on the finish which is quite dominant. The lemon hop finish is excellent. Good beer.

Tap at the brewpub. Cloudy light/pale gold with a fine head. Nice hoppy nose, herbs and lemon, a bit of cracker malt. Sweet malts, a bit of honey, just a touch of diacetyl, herbal and spicy hops. A tiny bit of DMS too. Good peppery finish. The flaws are not huge, but bring it down.

On tap at the Brewpub. Sehr trübe goldgelbe Farbe, ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, blumig, grasig, dezent bitter. Geschmack sehr hopfig, grasig, frisch, wenig getreidig.

Bamberg Bash, Day 1. Air Brau, Munich Airport. A gold beer that for a pils is getting cloudy. Small white head. Palate is softish, smooth and semi dry. Light apples under slightly spicy malt. Touch of orange peel underneath. Light finish. Okay.

Day 1 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, tap at Airbrau (landside) Munchen Flughafen, 24/01/14. Hazed yellow with a moderate off white covering that retains well. Nose is bitter orange, light hop dankness, straw, lemon rind. Taste comprises lemon rind, pale malts, cereals, straw, earthy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy close. Ok pils - fairly earthy for the style.
