Malmö July tasting at Palace Hall (08/07/2023) - sweet malty sign up front whisky notes, pretty old but holding up alright, medium body, whisky infused malty finish.

330ml bottle from Scottish Beer Shop in Callander - clear pale yellow body with a short fizzy white head. Gentle oaky whisky notes in the nose, carries on with some butterscotch and vanilla tastes, some woodiness with a small alcohol burn at the end. Pleasant surprise.

Amber colour with thin head. It's a malty ale with a touch of sweet whisky. Not brilliant but decent and well balanced. Don't understand the low average score below.

From a 330ml bottle on 17/5/2018. Pours a clear light golden with a tiny head. The aroma is slight - perhaps a hint of whisky and fruit. Very sweet and fruity taste wise, with a bit of grainy malt at the back. Again, there is the barest hint of whisky, with a slight tangy bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Expected it to be more whisky-like. Just okay.
