Can, 0.50l. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, dried fruit and whiskey. Pours almost black color with thin creamy brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet chocolate, caramel and roasted malt, following is woody, nutty and slightly grassy, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is pretty bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Really heavy hooters…

25/12/21. Pours black with tan head. Caramel and liquer in aroma. Strong aroma. Roastiness, coffee and again liquer in taste. Full body, very nice. Maybe too intensive, but you want that from RIS.

Canned 500ml. -from Beershop Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate and dried fruits in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, dried fruits and light nutty with slightly burnt touch in the finish. Noticable alcohol as well.

Can, 0.5l. Black pour, one finger frothy beige head, medium lasting. Minimal lacing on the glass. Moderately sweet on the nose, notes of figs, molasses and dried fruits, slightly roasted. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Nice mouthfeel, thick and creamy texture, chewy. Roasty bittersweet taste and aroma, more on the sweet side. Aroma of caramel, molasses, figs and dried fruits. Hints of honey, chocolate, licorice. Medium to strong alcohol presence, dry, warming, lingering burn on the tongue. Medium to long lasting finish, dry and boozy. Tasty.

Tap at Goblet ZG with Hrabren. Almost pitch black body with a tan head. Honey, treacle, some fruity, grainy dark maltiness, sweet, with light alcohol. Sweet taste, dark caramel or rather treacle, honey, well integrated cookie and roasty notes, lightly soapy, some tobacco, vague bitterness. Very smooth, very drinkable for the ABV, a very good first stab at the style!
