Bananiger, hefig herber Beginn, dabei eher wenig intensiv. Eher malziger Mittelteil, moderat hefig, zunehmend röstig. Wässrig bittere Nuancen zum Ende. 6/8/7/6/9/7

Amber color with nice tan head. Aroma is caramely, fruity, berries and dark fruits. Taste is also malty and fruity, berries, some dark fruits, herbal, with a pleasant nutty finish. Carbonation is average. A mixture between an amber and a brown ale with quite some unusual character. Good.

Bottle from Coop, St. Gallen. Very great caramelly smooth beginning. Fresh and deep in one. Very soft and smooth, malty and caramelly, characterful with a moderate bitterness. Great with only hints of wood in the background. A bit earthy, brown, quite dry with a nice brown caramelly finish! Long smooth malty aftertaste. Great and round brew! I like it very much. --- Beer merged from original tick of Gallus 612 Old Style Ale on 28 Apr 2024 at 22:13 - Score: 8. Original review text: Danke Marcel. Smooth dry bitter with nice herbal juniper. Bitter herbal with a nice bitter juniper in the finish. Great herbal on the tongue.
