Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, oak, vanilla, caramel and cherry. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, vinous, chocolate, cocoa, oak, vanilla and cherry finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 22oz, thanks to Kenni. An oily pour reveals a black to dark brown body under a minimal sized tan head. The aroma is quite intense, with booze, molasses, some cherry and toffee, a woody hint, a good dash of chocolate, some roasted malts and a burnt touch. Licorice notes too. It's full-bodied as hell, warming and vinous, oily and smoooooth, with a good dash of sweetness. Molasses, dark chocolate, some roasted malts and coffee, licorice, cherry, some wood and a toffee hint in the flavor. Some burnt notes in the far back. Quite boozy finish, with lots of nice malty flavors. Sure a sipper, well suited for sharing and spending some time with. 220129

Bomber thanks to Kenny. It pours oily jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is sticky, tangy, umami, toasted coconut, vanilla, tangy dark fruits, chocolate cake, spice, touch of whiskey, toffee, rich roasty vibes and black forest. The taste is slick, oily, tangy, salty, savoury, vanilla, toasted coconut, warming booze, dried fruits, black forest gateaux, toffee, cherry is only distant, maltesers, mars bar, jammies, damp wood and a touch of spice with tangy finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and slick, oily mouth feel. A bit rough around the edges. Ok, but not up to heir usual stuff.
