The Quizmaster is a delicious imperial stout matured on Madagascan vanilla beans. Brewed with a simple malt grist of only golden promise, chocolate malts and oats allows the sweet yet delicate aroma of the pods to blossom. This beer is dedicated to one of Manchester's greatest quizmasters and writer of riddles of the last three decades.

440 ml can. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, lactose, vanilla, and soft roasted malts. Flavours of rich chocolate milk, vanilla, and oily roasted malts. Alcohol not there by flavour but cuts the sweetness and adds a bit of heat at the end.

Can at home. Pours black, nose is roasted, meaty, chocolate, earthy, vanilla, taste is sweet, creamy, roasted, burnt malts, earthy.

440ml can. Black with a small brown head. Aroma of milk chocolate, vanilla, roast malt. Taste is very sweet, milk chocolate, vanilla, mild roast malts, very boozy. Full bodied, thick, smooth. Fantastic.
