Bottle. A hazy, dark amber beer with a dense, light beige head. Quite malty aroma, with a touch of dark wort and raisins. Pine cones too. Sweet flavor with a decent bitterness, but it’s too sweet and worty. Dried fruits too. Full body, soft carbonation. Some dark sugar towards the finish. Well, not my kind of IPA. Ok, so it’s Christmasy in a way, and it’s decent, but I don’t feel an urge to repeat it. 140608

Fruchtig hopfiger Antrunk. Schnell wird das Bier deutlich blumiger und fruchtiger, malzig bitter, vollmundig. Die Hopfigkeit bleibt intensiv, die Bitterkeit vergleichsweise moderat. Intensiver hopfiger Abgang, grasig, fruchtig, klebrig. 11/11/12/11/10/11

bottle with thanks to Cuso! Hazy amber-brown colour, off-white head. Full-bodied, biter sweet with a grainy malty base and lots of resiny-grassy hop flavours, shy herbal accent in the background.
