Bottle thanks to Jens. Reddish with a creamy, beige head. Aroma full of oak with caramel and vanilla undertones. Taste is mildly sweet up front with a moderate, dry bitterness at the back. Lingering vanilla. Reminiscent of something aged in a rum barrel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. No suprises, good or bad. Pleasant.

Xmas Meeting @Sebastian M. Merry Xmas. Clear, amber color and a white head. Malty nose, caramelly. Taste follows the nose, decent hoppy and wooden-dryish finish.

0,75 l bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. Cloudy red in the glass with a nearly two finger pale beige head. Some bigger sediments are floating around. Malty with barrel wood on the nose. Taste starts with a lot of barrel wood, grainy and hop bitterness, some citrus. Tastes more alcoholic than it is in reality.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Beer in the glass amber coloured, huge head. Spicy malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, dried fruits, some caramel. Finish well balanced, still dry-malty. Not bad.
Smooth mild beginning. Grain, wood, roast. Very dry, caramel. Dry fruits, very dry, grain, mild with a toasty woody and not too bitter dry finish. Nice.
