Bottle shared at Bodney Road, 23/10/2017. A clear reddy borwn coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma i s sweet brown bready, rey, light jammy fruits,. Flavour is composed of sweet, honey,m earthy honey, kvas, brown malts. Palate isairy, lowish carboantion, dusty, brown malts. . Meh.

Bottle shared in Hackney - many thanks to Fergus. Pours clear red-Browns it's a creamy, tan head. Dry toasted brown bread in the snout, leathery berries. Medium sweet flavour with sugary berries, more brown bread, almost no bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish, more berries, toffee. Very simple.

Bottle. Color: Clear dark brown, frothy beige head. Taste: Medium sweet to sweet, caramel, almond, lots of brown sugar. Malty, toast, very little bitterness. Syrup-like.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma has some toasted malt. Flavour is initially very sweet. Tonnes of caramel. Tastes like artificial sweetener.

Pours chestnut brown with a thick, frothy crown that only slowly subsides. Aroma is caramel, brown sugar. Taste is ridiculously sweet, much along the lines of the Malzbier that Jacob drinks. Obviously a fair dose of sugar has been added to the mix. Finishes sweet and cloying on a lightish body. Brews like this give the style "porter" a bad name. Did not finish. Gave to less discerning drinkers. Awful.

Flasche 0,5l: Kastanienbraun, leichte Trübung, deutlicher grobporiger beiger Schaum; würzig frische Nase, Röstaromen, Röstmalz, Malzzucker, Kaffee, dunkle Süße, getrocknete Früchte, dunkle Schokolade; kräftige Süße im Körper, Malz, Malzzucker, dunkle eingelegte Früchte, Backpflaumen, Karamell, cremig, kräftige Kohlensäure, deutliche Röstaromen, süßer Kaffee, dunkle Schokolade; langer süßlicher Nachgang, in Summe irgendwie zu süß!
