Gravity cask at Maltingsfest 2023 in Newton Abbot. Pours clear dark ruby amber with an off-white cap. Aroma: malt, toffee, caramel, some citrus. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, malty, caramel, fruity. Medium body with soft carbonation. Decent red ale.

Cask @ Poole Hill, Bournemouth. Clear copper-amber with a glow. It's a well styled red ale with some malty sweetness, but not much bitterness.

17/7/2019. Bottle shared at the South West tour bottle share. Bought at the Poole Hill Brewery, Bournemouth. Pours deep amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, hops, citrus, orange and a touch of molasses. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice orange malt finish.

Bottle from the brewery. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, hops, malt and fruits. Nice semi dry and nutty bitter finish.

6 3 7 3 14 Draft at Poole Hill Brewery Bournemouth. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma of malt, overripe dark fruits and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and above moderate. Medium bodied with very soft carbonation.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Tucker’s Maltings Festival, 28/4/2017. Amber, with a slight, off-white, head. Easy drinking beer, with some citrus fruits, light malts, touch of caramel and moderately bitter finish. Fine.
