2014 Jahrgang. Bottle cork could not be opened by hand, corkscrew broke it, still carb though. Fruity citrus and honey nose, a bit oxidized maybe, nice rye-like flavor. A bit of caramel malt. I think the hops preserved it pretty well.

Flasche 0,33l: Dunkles Bernstein, Kupfer, leichte Trübung, sehr kräftiger + sehr stabiler feinporiger Schaum; fruchtige + leicht würzige Nase, dunkle Fruchtigkeit, eingelegte Früchte, kräftige Hopfennoten, Malz, Getreide, Karamell, Hefearomen, dezente Röstaromen; sehr frischer + sehr fruchtiger Körper, fruchtige Süße, würzig, Zitrusnoten, exotische Früchte, kräftige frische Hopfennoten, leichte fruchtige Säure, Malz, Getreide, kräftig Karamell, cremig, kräftige Kohlensäure, kräftige Hefearomen, etwas Pinie; angenehmer fruchtig-würziger Nachgang mit kräftigen Hopfenaromen

2013 bottle. Amber color. Grassy notes, biscuit and ripe fruit in the aroma. Full bodied. Grassy, biscuity flavor. Sweet, citrus and some tropical fruit. Pear. Vinous notes. Pleasant, but not outstanding.

Bottle. Flowery hop nose. Cloudy dark amber, offwhite cream. Medium light dry body, berry, bubblegum, grassy, light fruitiness, a bit hay, pleasant balance. Nice.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy dark amber colour with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of bitter hops, ripe fruits, spruce. Taste of bitter aromatic hops, resins, dark malt, bread, high carbonation.

04-08-16 / 200ml pour at the brewpub. Orange colour with small head. Intensive smell. Fruitbouqet. But then in the taste a bit disappointing. Only hints of fruit aromas, some bitterness. Medium sweet. Average IPA.

Bottle from Sky in Westerland. Sweetish but fresh beginning. Fruity-perfumed, moderate bittered, malty-sweetish body. The beer is not too floral-hoppy, more perfumed. Sweetish in body is the ending soapy-perfumed with hints of Cascade-typical floralness in the aftertaste. Hints of earth and mud, soapy perfume. Strange.

Bottle(0.33l): Golden to deep golden, slowly diminishing loose off-white head; mild aroma of sweet malt and cough-syrup, some alcohol detectable; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, a bit rough; cough-syrup, again, in the moderate bitter-sweet finish.Just O.K. …

Bottle. Nice deep orange color with nice white head. Nice delicate hoppiness, grassy, caramely. Taste also has a nice fruity-sweet hop/malt balance, a bit boring towards the end. Surprisingly good. 7-4-6-3-13Tap. Lots of passion fruit aromas, not as malt-forward as I remember. Taste is quite malty, the hop character does not fit perfectly to it. Too perfumed, although I like the aroma.

Bottle 750ml. corked @ home in garden. [ As Brau-Manufactur Allgaeu Hopfen Royal ].Clear medium to dark orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, light grass. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, caramel, hoppy, fruity, sweet malt, light ripped fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140804]
