--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear mahogany colour, small head. Bready malt aroma. Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Toast, nut and chocolate, notes of hay. Fairly low bitterness.

ABV: 5.2%. Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - roasted - dark malt, dark malt, malty, sweet malt, bread notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, malty, light rye bread. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20211128]

Draught @ the brewpub Aroma has chocolate, toasted malt and coffee. Flavour has toasted malt and some cocoa. Coffee in the finish. Clean and easy-going dark lager.

Can at home, Nivala. Enjoyed straight from the can. Aromas and flavors: Bread, some chocolate, malts and some burnt malts. Pretty good Finnish dark lager!

50cl can. Poured dark brownish looking in color. Light roastedness, toasted malt and some bread in aroma and flavor. Light hops, bread and sweetness. OK dunkel.

Can from Prisma Itäharju. Smell of roasted malt, a faint of sugar. Deep bronze colour, light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, grass, some brown sugar in finish. Light body. Medium sweet, lightly bitter. Slightly watery, otherwise fine.

Can 500ml (from brewery shop) Dark ruby colour, tiny beige head. Sweetish toasted, grassy hoppy aroma. Light-bodied. Caramalt, toastyness, grassy German hops in the flavour. Classic sweetish Dunkel, nothing standing out but as such ok. 15+ years ago these kind of beers were my favourites. now a bit too sweet for me.

(Can, 0.5 l - BBE 12/2021, from Ruosniemi Taproom Helsinki, 20201219) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had toasted malts, molasses and lightly treacle. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, molasses, grass, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A tasty dark brew with slightly too strong sweetness.
