deep dark brown, almost black colour, medium sized dense dark brown head; aroma of dairy cream, coffee, some cocoa, burnt woody, over-roasted sunflower seeds and slight soy sauce notes; taste is basically the same with intensive fish-like notes...well, I don't know...

All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è evanescente. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è nero come la pece. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è nella norma. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è sufficiente. Il retrogusto è intenso. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, cioccolato, caffè, liquirizia, agrumi, spezie e frutta passita.

330mL bottle. Pours black with a beige head. Dry roasted malts on the nose. Flavour has a very dry roast character; not depth or complexity and almost chalky in the degree of dryness in the palate. This is surprisingly boring and almost unpleasant to drink.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma has chalky roasted malt, a bit of herbal/vegetal notes, and a dusty dry cocoa powder. Flavour is dusty and dry, with a chalky dry malt character, bitter cocoa powder, and earthiness. Dusty, chalky, earthy; there’s not much depth or proper balance here. Disappointing.

Taster at Il Fermento. Cloudy, dark red to black colored. AROMA-liqueur, sour cherry, caramel, chocolate, slight touch of coffee. FLAVOR-neutral to slightly sweet, lightly bitter, warming, the same as aroma. Fuller bodied. Tasty.

bottiglia 33 cl, grazie Luca, schiuma inesistente, colore marrone/nero, al naso malto tostato caffè cacao vaniglia e lieve liquirizia, in bocca cioccolato fondente poi caffè liquirizia frutta secca e Vov, corpo rotondo, alcool un po' sbilanciato, watery e oily, carbonazione piatta, acidula, attacco dolce con amaro accentuato lungo nel finale. Lontana dalle ben più blasonate 15.02.19

Danke an anstei. Süßlicher, schokoladig brotiger Beginn. Süffig, schokoladig, etwas zu süß. Fein herb, Knäckebrot, minimal bitter. Vollmundig, etwas Espresso, Bitterschokolade. Gelungen. 9/11/11/11/8/11
