11/12/2022. Can from Hoptimism. Pours black with a small bubbly tan coloured head. Aroma is dark chocolate, dried fruits, roasted malt, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and allspice, Christmas cake, biscuit and dates. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily and watery, soft carbonation. Sweet, spiced, cloying finish. Lacked some body but otherwise an enjoyable Xmas spiced beer.
