Ned's Retro IPA is a malt-forward traditional style English IPA. It's more balanced, round caramelised malt, floral hop character and big mouthfeel all tied together with the addition of English and American Hops.

33cl bottle. Dark amber color, light haze, thick creamy/rocky yellowish head. Smell of citrus. Aroma: caramel malts, resin, american hops, ripe fruits. Taste is a bit ubalanced, malty sweet and hoppy bitter, but bitterness cames up very late in the finish. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, smooth finish.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Stas’s place. Clear golden. Aroma of chalky dusty malt, and some slightly stale citric and floral hops. Flavor has sweetish malt, a caramel note, and bitter floral and mildly citric hops. Medium-bodied. OK.

Medium, reddish cream-coloured head over hazy amber-orange beer. Very fruity nose with citrus - orange mainly, orangemarmalade. Bit of caramel/toffeearoma. Bitter, fruity with a mild resiny finish. Bananapeel and mandarinepeel. Medium bodied, hopoil-slick. Aftertaste is somewhat lacking, empty feel. Quite well-made. McGargles has nothing of the often amateuristic streaks other Irish microbrands sometimes show.

Flaska inköpt i Dublin. Kakig arom med blommig humleton. Lite fadd och tråkig smak med en skarp beska. I bakgrunden skymtar något som bäst beskrivs som deg fram.
