330ml bottle from The Wine Seller, Compton, Wolverhampton. Pours clear gold. Aroma of rustic barrel, cider barn. Taste continues with a mild acetic air, wild funk, with sweet scuzzy pulp emerging alongside tannin-rich juicy fruit. Good apple blend, all contributing a nice depth of flavour. Really good.

Bottle from the Courtyard Dairy as part of their virtual cheese and cider tasting. Clear deep bronzey-gold. Some sweet apple at first before some serious dryness kicks in. A hint of sourness too. Light farmyard, some wood and rotten apples. Slightly watery. Lasting dry finish. It's not up to the normal standard if Oliver's, but I still enjoyed it.

330ml bottle bought at the National Cider Museum, Hereford and drunk at home. Light gold, still and clear. Woody aroma to the fore with apples taking a backseat and little touches of caramel and orange peel. Taste is very much on the dry side with just hints of sweetness around the edges. More okay character in the finish. A nice on-the-strong-side cider.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Hereford Beer House. Pours clear yellow-gold, no head. Light-medium sweet flavour, somewhat dry and musty, a bit of cobwebby cellar, a little funk, apple peel, very mild apple juice, nips of grass. Light to medium bodied, still. Semi dry finish, restrained apple character, more subtle grass and peel bitterness, soft tang, funky-musty cellar. Good fun.
