Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM, I think. Pours clear, pale yellow with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet, a little tangy, some faint straw, lemon rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly clean finish, faint floral notes, crispy pale malts. Drinks fine.

Can. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Fairly smooth malts, an ephemeral creamy sweetness. Mild lager tang in the mid. Trace of pine from the English hops along with a smooth but pretty modest citrus. Whisper of some citric peel. Smooth finish. Clean and refreshing. One of those lagers you wish were more readily available, would suit a number of social situations where having your snout buried in a murky looking tips might not go down to well.

This is how you use English hops! Wow! Great refreshing lager. Piney. Crisp. Extremely hoppy IPL (JA) style. Resinous. Great use of First Gold and Challenger. Drinks like Kernel Table Beer. A very accomplished IPL hybrid.

Can at home picked up from Cloudwater online. Sat in the garden. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a decent white head. Aroma is nice floral notes, apricot, light straw and honey malts. Flavour is composed of decent earthy malts, biscuit, straw, marmelade on toast, light tang. Palate is semi sweet, crisp and light, highish carbonation. Good stuff.
