A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle, this medium-bodied pale ale has a refreshing citrus flavor and a distinctive floral hop aroma due to the aggressive addition of hops during fermentation. You'll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

So smooth. I swear nitro beers and brewed with silk.

14.02.2015, 0,35l bottle (as Founders Dry Hopped Pale Ale) sampled @ Bergen International Whisky & Beer Festival:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, wet hay, wet grain, worth, cereal, leafs, grass, nuts, caramel.Taste is kind of dry mineraly, hay, cereal, minerals, paper, weeds, dried grain, rope, bark. Medium bitterness, dry and harsh mouthfeel. Very disappointing.

From Sept 2008

I got this bottle in a trade with jwc215. Thanks Joe!

It pours a hazy orange gold with a 1 finger head of foam. Great head retention and there's some lacing.

The smell has notes of caramel and earthy malt and some citrus hoppiness but overall, it's lightly done.

The taste has some weak malt presence, earthy and a touch of caramel, followed by a light citric hop bitterness that dominates mid palate on and through the finish. Hmm, this is a serviceable APA in taste but the overall flavours come across as very mild to me. If this was lower in abv, it would be a decent sessionable ale but at over 6%, I just expected more flavour and didn't get it.

Good medium mouthfeel here and the carbonation is fairly light.

Bottom line: A decent APA that looks good, smells good, tastes ok, has a pretty good mouthfeel, and is pretty drinkable. There you have it in a nutshell. ;^)

Bottle from J’s. Looks to be old I suppose. Pours a deep gold with some glowing orange notes and a finger of foam. Faint mineral and grass nose. Dry, grainy malt. Good carbonation though. Hops faded out at this point and drinks more like a dry blond. Light lingering bitterness.

0.355l bottle as Founders Dry Hopped Pale Ale. This is a light cloudy caramel golden colored one with a small kinda lacing just off-white head. Smells really fruity, hoppy and kinda peachy. Some grass and a little citrus zesty zing. Nothing to say on the smells. There's traces of really pleasant detergent also. Really like. It's mild oily in the mouth and it's spot on how I like it on the carbonation. Malty peachy, it's kinda grassy in a way also with hay and a zesty quite bitter lingering tail. Nice this little non complicated quencher. 22.11.2014
