(swing top bottle) Slightly hazy, mahogany colour with a beige and big foamy head. Delicately leafy toast-malty aroma with hints of caramel, beady crusts and a tinge of herbal hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Dark and mildly toasted malty base with notes of caramel, traces of molasses and herbal accents; sweet and slightly bitter finish with balanced caramelly, toasty and herbal hoppy notes. Pleasant. 21.XI.13

Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep mahagony coloured, a bit unclear, big and stable creamy off-white head, slightly "green" worty nose, caramel and dark to toasty malt in the bachground, grassy-herbal hops as well; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and really soft; lingering caramelly-nutty finish with certain fruitiness, followed by a mild, but distinctive balancing bitterness in the aftertaste. Not earth-shaking, but a well drinkable Bock…
