Hazy yellow body topped by an active white head. Nose is fresh, featuring spiced malt and a hint of banana. A range of well blended and refreshing tastes make this a memorable saison. Lemon and mango hops, and spice including coriander, pepper and lavender are punched up by zesty carbonation. A thin body works with the taste profile. Another nice accomplishment from Le Trou Du Diable.

Bottle at Le Bremner in Montreal. Clear golden pour, with a huge white head. Big aroma of malted grains, quite a sharp bitter aroma of crisp grassy, slightly citric hops. The mouth feel ks very effervescent, with a very lively cabr. The finish is quite bitter, lots of floral, herbacious grassy/citric hops, and a great peppery touch.The malts balance quite well and add a tiny bit of grainy sweetness that is needed. Very crisp, and quenching, went amazing with my meal. A superb classic style saison.

Bottled@SBWF2014. Hazy golden colour, creamy white head. Aroma is grains, funk, some yeast and mild earthy tones. Flavour is sweet malts, hay, yeast and some earthy tones with mild citrus too. Easy to drink, really good thirstquencher.

Backlog June 2017. Slightly unclear yellow golden body under a big white head. Delicate aroma of malt, spices and Saison yeast, classic Sasion aroma. Taste is delicate and complex as well, mild and balanced with malt, spices, yeast, some fruit and slightly grassy. Medium body and same aftertaste. A fine saison indeed.

Quand la brasserie Trou du Diable souhaite rendre hommage aux saisons belge cela donne la Saison du Tracteur qui fait honneur à la Belgique avec bel équilibre entre acidité, malt et alcool et sur une bonne complexité avec des arômes de céréales, citron, sigle, poivre, pomme et banane. Il ne manque qu'un peu de nervosité pour se comparer aux toutes meilleures saisons belges. En verre nous sommes sur un blond doré très légèrement voilé, avec une fine effervescence soutenue et une mousse blanche et crémeuse d'un cm. Joli nez affirmé et typé avec un triptyque céréales, légère acidité et levure respecté. On y retrouve citron, seigles, pomme, banane et poivre. Belle complexité dès l'attaque avec une légère acidité bien équilibrée par la base maltée et un alcool, à 6 % efficace mais qui aurait mérité d'être un peu relevé pour être plus tonique. LA deuxième bouche, si elle est relativement linéaire, propose une bonne présence en bouche. L’arrière-bouche est pour sa part un peu plus acide et astringente. Le final, moyennement long laisse le poivre davantage s'exprimer. Bel hommage. Merci Vincent !

Tap. Hazy pale golden color with thick white head. Aroma of malt, spices. Nice malty, yeasty, spicy taste. Nice simple, refreshing saison.

Vycap unorthodox. Vôňa kyslasta ovocna. Farba zlatista. Chuť pšeničná kyslasta.

Tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Nice stuff. Initial aroma is quite vegetal, earthy. Soon cleans up though and gives way to light berry fruitiness and a bit of yoghurt. Taste is similar, light fruit and bit of dairy, finish has a light citrus bitterness, berries again and a touch of grain. Quite full bodied. Poured at Shelton Festival, hazy gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, floral, citrus. Medium body, yeast, earth, spice, dry finish, good.
