Bottle. Color: Very dark reddish brown, almost black. Nutbrown fast disappearing head. Bit strange greasy / oily / earthy smell. Taste: Very sweet, roasted malt, brown sugar. Very lightly bitterness. Hints of mocha, chocolate, caramel and alcohol. In my opinion too sweet and uncomplicated for a real porter. More like a Czech tmave (dark) with a bit more alcohol.

Pours dark brown, almost balck, topepd with medium non-lasting beige head. Grainy aroma, very mild chocolate feel, otherwise not much going on. A bit boozy nose as well. Taste is sweet, malty with some bicuity chocolate. Doesn’t feel really like 8%, although some warmth is present later on. Mildly bittery. But tastes very decent.

Feketébe hajló sötétbarna szín, hatalmas, tartós, bézs színű hab. Karamelles, csokoládés illatok. Íze édeskés, karamelles, csokis, aszalt gyümölcsös - főleg szilvás -, barna lágeres. Testes, mégis könnyed, jól iható, enyhén száraz és szénsavas. Nagyon finom.

Bottle, 500 ml. Courtesy of Giggsy. Shared with him and JFK10000. Pours black with beige head. Malty, roasted, chocolate, quite sweet. Starts bit metallic which is a shame. Medium bodied, but just a bit more would be nice.

Bottle courtesy of Ryan, many thanks bro. Shared with mortlach, markoijelena and Boban in Rome-Italy. Moramo da radimo. Pours clear chestnut skin, a bit with red highlights. Tick brownish head with retention. Nose: boiled chestnuts, toasted malts. Mouth: quite nice, caramel, a bit of bacon, brown sugar. On the sweet side and quite drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
