Jantarová 13 je spodně kvašený speciál jantarové barvy s vyšší plností, sladovou až mírně karamelovou chutí a střední vyrovnanou hořkostí. Třináctku vaříme z plzeňského a karamelového sladu klasickým dvourmutovým způsobem. Harmonickou chuť piva podtrhává chmelení aromatickým Žateckým poloraným červeňákem v kombinaci s "drsnějším" Premiantem.

500ml can as part of a delivery from HoTM, York. Amber and clear with a full loose off-white head. Malty motes, some metallic character, a bit grainy with soft orchard fruits. Sweet taste with subtle hop bitterness, some citrus peel and tea-y tannins. Long hop-laden finish. Medium body with low carbonation. An extremely well-made lager. Love it.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 29/05/23. Copper colour with a good sized just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is biscuit, toasted grains, stewed fruits, toffee, light herb. Taste comprises fruit slice, dates, raisins, brown bread, herb, toffee, biscuit, prunes. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close. Solid for the style.

On tap. Clear nutty brown with a lacing, beige head. Faint aroma, perhaps a hint of caramel - but dry. Medium body, slightly nutty with a bitter finish. Not your average Vienna. 030423

Pours mid-amber, clear with perhaps the slightest bit of haziness. A couple of fingers of frothy white head, nice retention and loads of lacing on the sides of the glass. Quite intense aroma: a background but not timid malty base of caramel and crackers, with light honey hints; hop notes are mostly floral and grassy, with lighter citric and prickly saaz notes. Taste notes follow the aroma closely. As their 11° svetly lezak the taste is quite bitter for the style, with a balanced mouth and a quite firmly bitter and dry floral finish/aftertaste. A cleansing finish that demands another sip. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation; a rather easy and vivid enough mouthfeel. Very nice!
