Jantarová 13 je spodně kvašený speciál jantarové barvy s vyšší plností, sladovou až mírně karamelovou chutí a střední vyrovnanou hořkostí. Třináctku vaříme z plzeňského a karamelového sladu klasickým dvourmutovým způsobem. Harmonickou chuť piva podtrhává chmelení aromatickým Žateckým poloraným červeňákem v kombinaci s "drsnějším" Premiantem.

Can from Great Grog. Clear amber body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of nuts and toast. Flavour of caramel and lightly roasted malt. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Clean and warming. It reminded me of Uerige Alt.

New style for me. Frothy off white head left a spotty cover & collar in a reddish amber still body. Fruity & malt aroma. Medium bodied, well carbonated with a clean back. Berries, pine, tangy, herbal & grain with a bitter pithy finish.

Bottle from Indiebeer, wherever they are in that London. Aroma combines malts, yeast and citrus. Opaque amber. Massive foamy light beige head. Initial smooth sweetness, yeasty but tempered by a nuttiness. Underlying bitter streak then takes the home straight and provides spiciness. Medium bodied. Slick. Lazy fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. It's fine. Just not finding it particularly compelling.

Can from my local off-licence ‘Wine Rack’. Pours a slightly hazy amber/orange colour with a large thick creamy beige head. Aromas of grains, hay, grass, straw, bread, biscuit, caramel and spice. Taste is more of the same with caramel , bready biscuit and a nice crisp but not harsh grassy hop on the finish. Medium body, fairly low carbonation with a very smooth mouthfeel. it is an excellent top quality lager.

Can from House of Trembling Madness. It pours lightly hazy chesnut brown with an orangey hue and thick foamy white cap. The aroma is rich and malty, brown bread, rivita, cereal, spice, grass, earth and breakfast muffin. The taste is dry with a nice hit of bitterness, earthy and grassy, herbal accents, good depth of malt, brown bread, rivita, cereal, touch of spice, baked goods l and wood with a dry, spicy finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Pretty great example of the style. Fresh and bitter.
