Red brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with notes of hard roasted malt, bitter coffee and caramel. Sweet flavor with hard roasted malt, caramel, bitter chocolate and coffee notes. Ends bitter.

330ml Bottle- Very dark brown in colour with a small head. Creamy chocolate and coffee feature prominently in the aroma. The taste is rather roasted with coffee and a hint of chocolate and toffee also featuring. Quite nice and slips down very easily for the strength.

33 cl bottle, "BB 21 01 09" A chance to toast a World Beer Cup medalist–either this or Lone Star. Pours rather light brown for anything made with coffee, fizzy head that settles to a light layer of bubbles. Nice dark roast coffee flavor; if I hadn’t read the description, could I have said African beans? Maybe. Smell blends with a bit of malt roastiness and a bot of heady alcohol. Taste brings in some cocoa, but perhaps a bit too much bitterness with roast malt and coffee together. Then again, perhaps that’s to be expected. Smell of thick syrup wafts over halfway down the glass. Malts are getting sticky on my lips, tends to remind me of Kahlúa. Middle turns pretty acidic, and I start to get a vegetal impression with ground pepper on it. Still, I give it points for being, well, interesting, and something I’d offer to others, maybe with a coffee ice cream float. Now that I’ve finished it at 10:30 pm, will I be relaxed and sleep, or stay up all night?

Dark brown coloured body with a dense tan head - not very opaque at all - pretty clear for a porter! Aroma of nuts, raisins, figs, chocolate and a bit of coffee - light central american though - nothing too flavourful. Medium-bodied; Sharp nuttiness up front with caramel malt, a bit of toffee and a tiny bit of coffee following behind - more chocolate than coffee. Aftertaste shows more of the same, a nice sweetness ends the beer - but a bit light. Overall, a decent beer - but definitely nothing real special. I wish I could have tried a different english beer! I sampled this 330 mL wide-bottomed bottle purchased at the Utobeer stall in Borough Market, London, England on 09-March-2008.

Cool little bottle pours out a almost black topped with a tan head. A great aroma and tast of roast coffee. This Porter was true to the name Meantime Coffee. A nice mix of sweet chocolate a little roast and all the coffee. This was very good.

bottle - Well the shape of the bottle is certainly unique. This porter pours dark brown with a one finger tan head. Roast coffee dominates the aroma. As expected the roast coffee is assertive in the flavor as well. It’s medium bodied and lightly bitter with a good roast finish. Have some coffee.

Bottle: Deep chestnut brown pour with a large, creamy tan head. Aromatic with coffee and... well, more coffee. Hints of toffee and caramel. Flavor is just what it claims to be. Rich coffee blends with light roasty tones and a bit more toffee. Straightforward, simple, and enjoyable.
