Bottle bought in Long Beach, August 2014. Golden with a medium white head. Light and fairly refreshing with hay, bread, hops and some fruit. Nothing special but a drinkable one.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is doughy, grainy, floral. Pours hazy golden with a medium white head that falls after a minute into a ring of big-bubbly foam. Taste is crisp, simple, refreshing, dry. Highly carbonated, medium body. Definitely the most simple beer I’ve ever had from this brewery. Tastes good and well-made, though; definitely a lawnmower beer.

Bottle thanks to C Shep. Pours a clear gold with small frothy white head. The aroma is wheat, corn. Thin mouthfeel with light wheat corn malt. Easy to drink, nice session. Good.

22 ounce bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a clear straw to golden yellow with half a finger of off-white head. Head fades quickly. Aromas of wheat, apple juice, light banana and spices. Tasting notes of tropical fruit, wheat, apple juice, light floral and herbal notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Semi-juicy mouthfeel, medium carbonation.

22oz Bottle, bottled on 8th February 2014, drank overlooking Balboa Island on 16th March 2014. Poured many times into small tumbler. Bright, clear and golden, each new pour gave me small white head which turned into collar wisp fairly swiftly. carbonation bubbles could be seen rising on each pour too. Weak aroma of grains and mild floral hops, taste also faint in strength with semi-sweet malts pushing the hops way down the pecking order. Refreshing and clean, an ideal sunshine beer, which is why it was opened in the first place. it made me burp!

Enjoyed on tap at Barney’s Beanery in Santa Monica, CA. Meh, this is just ok. Nothing too good, average blonde ale, easy drinking, goes well with salads.

Amber gold color topped by a very brief white head. Slightly sweet grainy malt nose. Sweet creamy lightly toasted malt flavor. Very little carbonation. Finish is sweet and brief. Overall, just average. Not much of anything.
