Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big coconut, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, vanilla, cream, toasted dark bread, light smoke, and herbal/roasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of coconut, cocoa/lactose, and dark/roast/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big coconut, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, vanilla, cream, toasted dark bread, light smoke, and herbal/roasted earthiness. Light herbal/roasted bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of coconut, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, vanilla, cream, toasted dark bread, and herbal/roasted earthiness for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of coconut, cocoa/lactose, and dark/roast/bready malt flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Slight dryness from herbal/roast bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and lightly silky/sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this a great flavored milk stout! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of coconut, cocoa/lactose, and dark/roast/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Very flavorful with great coconut presence, without overwhelming the base stout. A very enjoyable offering.
