It is a nice stout, all the qualities that you could expect from such kind of beer, roasted malt, coffee, hop, little sweet, 31.08.16 drinking it at Bonfol, enjoying the sun, in family, buying it in one coop at Brig or Zürich.

Bottle @ Andorra Bar, Zurich. Close to black body with a small beige head. Strong aroma of dark, roasted malt, licorice, some coffee and slightly fruity. Flavor is also quite strong on the roasted malt, licorice, dry frui, resin and quite bitter. Fine body, long lasting aftertaste and rather complex for the style. Tasty and enjoyable.

330ml bottle [7.0% abv]. Jet black colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige head. Chocolately, dark malty and citrusy, hoppy aroma, notes of orange flavoured chocolate, a touch of marmalade. Taste is bitter, roasty, minimally ashy, dark malty and bitter, citrusy hoppy, hints of dark chocolate, old lemon peel.

The beers starts fresh and malty. Not too much Citra there, the body is full of dark black malt. Roasted dry aftertaste with a moderate roast-bitterness. On the tongue remains a malty roasted dark and intense flavour. Very nice, but the floral hops are way in the background under the heavy malt layer.

0.3l bottle from a coop in basel. pours a pitch black with a medium beige head and some lacing, clear chestnut in a thin layer. aroma of fresh weed/herbal hops, roast, a hint of smoke. flavour of rye bread, herbs, spruce, toasted barley, coffee. long roasty bitter finish.

Bottled@HBF2015. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is fruity, grassy, some mild toasted notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, some bready and mild ashy maltiness to it. Mellow on the roasted and ashy side of things makes this quite ok to drink.
