Bottled. Black colored, thin brown head. Chocolate, roasted malt, licorice. Flavor has roastedness, coffee, citrus. Long finish. Pleasant.

A dark brown ale with a thin brown head. In aroma, bitter chocolate with catty floral hops, coffee grind, light sulfur. In mouth, bitter chocolate with coffee grind, musty catty hops, light sulfur notes, very nice. Bottle at OttBottShare March 2015.

Sehr dunkelbraune Farbe, ordentliche bräunliche Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, fruchtig, röstmalzig. Geschmack hopfig bitter, floral, Schokolade.

Frischer dunkler Hopfenantrunk, röstig, wenig holzig. Der Geschmack bleibt im Mittelteil konstant, insgesamt etwas trockener. Der Hopfen ist aber immer noch dominierend. Sehr gut. 12/12/12/12//12

Beautiful pitch black color with beige head. Citrus-like hop aromas paired with lots of roasted malts, nuts, coffee. Taste is bitter chocolate, more nuts, roasted malts, a very little bit of tartness. Smooth low-carbonated mouthfeel. Very interesting, I?ve had much worse Black IPAs.
