Rather dark amber-orange color with small head. Aroma is grassy hops, malty, caramel. Taste is more grassy hops and bitter malts. Carbonation is rather crisp for a British Ale. Okay.

Bottled (from AbM). Slightly hazy orangeish deep golden colour with a small off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready and caramel malts with mild nutty, earthy and floral notes. Flavour is quite similar in a nice balance, and also has some slight ripe fruityness to it. Nice wooden and resiny floral bitterness in the finish.

Cask at the 2011 Wallington BF, London. Labeled as ’Little Scotney Green Hop’ but from a cursory web search this seems to be the same beer. Pours rich gold with a fine, white head. Caramel malt nose. Medium sweet flavor with some light, hay bitters, caramel and toasty sugars. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mildly sweet, doughy finish with some caramel and very light bitterness. An easy drinker.
