Cask gravity at The Haywain, Bramling. Clear dark amber colour, thin beige head. Wow the hop on this is stunning. Sherberty green. A real explosion of flavour on a bitter. Really impressed with the flavoursome hops. Not bitter or overly citrusy, but really sherberty and fresh. Love the hops, but really not bitter. Wonderful

50cl bottle from the farm shop at Polesden Lacey (NT), Surrey. Golden amber with a thin off-white head; aroma of toffee and grassy hops; crisp to start but becoming sweet and sticky in the mouth; bready malt flavours with a light herbal bitter finish.

bottle, bought at Waitrose Tenterden, Kent, while desperately looking for a toilet en-route to the Channel Tunnel. Golden-chestnut coloured with a small and fluffy head. Malty-fruity nose. Malty background with hints of roasetd malts and caramel. Lovely hoppy flavours with a nice citrusy character. The combination of citrusy hops with caramel and the flavours of roasetd malts works really well. Smooth and velvety carbonation.
