On tap at the International Beer Bar. Cloudy orange pour with orange candy in the bouquet. Taste is a little tart, a little fruity and very belgian. Decent.

Appearance: Flip-top bottle. Hazy amber, quite a bit of off-white head.
Aroma: Hops, light tart fruits, herbs.
Taste: Hops, malt, herbs. Fruits, slight tartness, but less than most BFM beers. Some tea, but not lots of it.
Bought: Halle aux Boissons (Matran), 330 ml, CHF 4.25
Info: 28/5-2016, BB: 30/9-2016

Bottle. Deep amber-orange, cloudy, with lace. Spicy nose, chocolate, apricot, dough, some caramel. Fruity, chocolate flavor, tangy fruits. Decent. Don’t get tea, though. A bit light in the body.

BFM la Brouette An opaque reddish amber, the nose is stone fruits: peach, plum, apricot with spices. Medium bodied at first with a round carbonation that then comes off a bit watery. The taste is soft chocolate, a bit fruity & biscuity. OK but disappointing in that you get no green tea from it at all.

Not so beautiful... cloudy muddy red-orange color with white head. Slightly tart aroma, a bit of roasted malts in there as well. Taste is light, a bit of bread, a bit of tea. Light body, refreshing. Interesting, as nearly everything by BFM.

Bottle. Cloudy dark amber color, thick tan head. Aroma of sour prunes. Taste is similar, with a bitter finish. Nice stuff.

Geht so. Danke an den Doppelbock für das Bier! 11/8/7/7/6/7

Bottle, courtesy of fiulijn. A hazy, orange-golden beer with a small, off-white head. Milky, rubbery nose with a lemony touch, not very good. The flavor is pretty much the same, rather unpleasant, with a touch of bitterness. Medium body, acidic. Definitely off. 110129

A hazed golden amber ale with small floaties and a thick collapsing with head. In aroma, pleasant orange peels, smooth Brett and cave, and light white pepper. In mouth, a light sweet candy malt with Orval like notes, smooth and refreshing, well done. Bottle from Cave à Bulles, June 2010, BB Feb. 2012.
