First of all, keep the can out of the light, he hates bright light, especially sunlight, it'll kill him. Second, don't give him any imperial stout, not even to drink. But the most important rule, the rule you can never forget, no matter how much he cries, no matter how much he begs, never drink him after midnight.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. The oily reveals a nice and tight espresso head leaving crocheted lacing behind. Jet black in my Yuletide glass. Creamy cocoa smell with a vanilla touch. Lovely taste of caramel, molasses, and vanilla chocolate, carefully roasted. Lingering and warming ending. Velvety smooth on the swallow. Full bodied. Sweet Yuletide joy. (Tromsø 23.12.2017).

Litt heftig, ikke helt i klasse med 'the bearded lady' på cirkus, men nesten. Litt Daim-ish. Men god, og sikkert enda bedre til neste år

Fra boks på Agenturet. Svart. Middels høyt tett brunt skum som daler veldig sakte. Utmerket aroma av lakris & julekaker. Innslag av rom. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken nøtter, dadler & litt sjokolade. Behagelig tørr ettersmak. Alkoholen veldig godt integrert. Et topp kose-juleøl.

Did I really buy this? I was totally sober, but I can't remember buying this. Big brown head quickly dissipates. Opaque black body. (Surprise.) Deep chocolatey toffee aroma with milky notes. If this is how Santa's balls smell then that's OK with me. Sweet powerfully toffee and chocolatey taste with cocoa and caramel notes. Full-bodied. Well, to be honest it's more like Santa-bodied. Mild, slightly hot, low carbonation mouthfeel. Sweet earthy chocolatey caramel aftertaste with toffee notes. Absurdly rich and sweet, but not bad or unbalanced. Replace the label with something even half reasonable and I might even buy this again. (0.33l can, from wine monopoly. Not sure which one.)

From tap at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø, 20.10.17. Almost ebony. Pale brown head. Aroma of brittle, dark syrup, dark caramel, butterscotch and dark chocolate. Similar taste, balanced with some bitterness.
