Bottle at ChrisO’s Great and Powerful Pre-GBBF Tasting - Are You Scottish Edition (London, 2013). Pours hazy gold with a frothy white head. Light grapefruit on the nose, some white bread. Light sweet flavor with dry fruit and pithy citrus. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly dry to finish, fairly clean. OK.

500 ml swingtop bottle, as Bier Factory Rappigold Pale Ale. ABV is 4.8%. Hazy golden colour, large white head. Aroma of floral and herbal hops, hay and new-mown grass, hints of honey. Medium sweetish flavour, notes of herbal hops. Okay, but not really great.

ChrisO’s Pre GBBF ’Are You Scottish?’ tasting. Light haze on this gold beer, little pale cream coloured head. Light dry palate. Light creamy malt. Little dried fruits. Touch of peel. Finishes dry. Tasty enough but over dry.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’13, 10/08/13. Hazed golden amber with a thin off white head. Nose is grass, bitter orange, cereals, light vegetal notes. Taste comprises orange pith, light yeast, musty tones, bitter fruits. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish. So so.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours cloudy pale gold with a small white head. The nose is earth, celery, apple, pear, dough and light vegetable notes. The taste is clean, crisp, dough, grapefruit, zesty orange, toast and light bitterness. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Tastes a lot better than it smells anyway! OK.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grapefruity, peachy and light citrusy. Toasted malty, bitter and toasted malty. Bitter and dry and slight herbal finish.
