Bottle at Craft at the Market, Johannesburg, bb 02.08.14
Cloudy orange gold color with compact head. Very mild aroma. The flavor is a bit malty and caramelly, with moderate residual sugar, correct bitterness; smooth. Not much hop character though.
Too simple, British style IPA.

Bottle with mR_fr0g at his place on 12 October. Poured a cloudy golden colour with no head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon zest and hay. Sharp hop flavour with citrus and lemongrass. Palate is very light with hints of grain and resin, perhaps a touch of copper in there too. Not bad, but a little let down by the aftertaste.

Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras. Golden amber clear lasting thick cream head. Grapefruit hop aroma. Tasty hoppy grapefruit hop slightly metallic. A little thin inthe body but it’s a decent stab at a PNW ipa. I can understand why it’s called all day as it’s good enough to drink again but the body is light enough to be easily drinkable. Decent. I would like to have it cold rather than room temperature. I liked it

Bottle at home shared with Beese. From the St Albans. Can the Germans brew a good IPA. Let’s find out. Aroma is peppery apicy hop, some veg broth. Flavour is berry, spicy hop. Hazed golden orange, with a thin white head. Some fruits and clean cereal malt bill. Tasty enough.

500ml bottle from Drinker’s Paradise. A lovely dark, grainy IPA aroma greets you as you pop the bottle. Taste brings a bubbly blend of orange, grapes, mango, cereal and honey with a biscuity, slightly bitter finish. I actually could drink this all day.

Bottle on the beach in Littlehampton. I think i bought the bottle at the Drinker’s Paradise in London. Pours clear, rich gold with a very large, fluffy white head. The nose holds some dusty pine, toasted white bread, mild orange. Light to medium sweet flavor with lightly toasted bready malts, hints of caramel, pine, dirt, citrus rind. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Sweet finish, licks of alcohol, pine needles, dry orange, dry bread. So so.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear golden amber pour with foam white head, feint citrus hop, tastes like a bit of a fight between malt and hop, the malt wins but there is some citric taste.
