Old rating from 25-01-16 - Picked up from a bottle shop in Berlin, 330ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden colour with a white head. Aromas are mildly of bread malt & slight wheat aroma as well as caramel. Tastes of is mildly sweet & bitter flavour, medium bodied with a calm, if not tame carbonation. Slightly bread caramel malt and wheat taste with notes of fruit including citrus, orange & banana. Sweet malty hopped finish with hints of wheat & fruit. Overall I really enjoyed this one.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of bread, wheat, citrus, dried fruit, resin and dandelion syrup. Pours hazy amber orange color with medium soapy off-white head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts light to medium sweet bready and caramelly, follows by yeast, mandarin and dried fruit, mouthfeel is mild spicy, while finish is medium grassy bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Small country beer, big surprise...

330ml bottle from Germany. One month before the best before date. Pours hazy orange with a tall off-white head. Aroma is wheat, caramel, honey. Taste is medium sweet, bread, wheat, grassy hops. I’d swear this was a Belgian ale if I hadn’t seen the label.

Bottle thanks to wombat23 — still digging them out of the cellar. Pours murky orange with a foamy white head. Aroma is a fermenting apple/pear concoction with notes of banana and noticeable yeast. Taste is sweet, full of caramel and banana. Finishes with light bitterness and hints of bitter apple, green tea and spice. Body is medium, carbonation is soft—has a smooth, well rounded feel in the mouth. Overall a highly unusual Weizen. Feels like 2/3 Weisse and 1/3 Kellerbier. Glass went down quick though. Good!

33 cl bottle @ hotel room, Zürich. BBE 08/2017. Aroma is mustyish with minerals and peaches. Also caramel, cereal and mild worty notes. Fizzy palate. Flavour has minerals, some peaches, mild grassy hops and mild wort tones. Messy, would not recognize this as a hefeweizen. At least the hop kick in the finish is nice.

0,33l bottle at home from trade with SinH4, big thanks. BB 03/2016. amber cloudy color, small off-white head. smells of spices, banana, yeasty, peach, light citric notes, some peach. decent smell. medium to full body, medium carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of peach, apricot jam, banana, rather sweet, spices, light grass, some herbs, light yeast. finishes lightly sweet with notes of yeast and apricot. decent enough, could have been quite a bit better if it was less sweet. overall drinkable though.

pours an opaque dark orange with a medium white head and some lacing. aroma of ripe banana, cloves, and caramel. flavour is not too sweet and unexpectedly hoppy for a weizen, with more grassy and sprucy bitterness towards the finish. flat carbonation, medium body, oily mouthfeel.
