500mml. bottle as part of the European Secret Santa 2017 edition, many thanks to Erzengel for this bottle. Tasted on the 06/01/2018 at home. Clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of grains, malts, and grassy hops. Taste of sweet malts, bread and honey. Slightly bitter finish. Next one please!

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish malty aroma. Taste is moderately sweet, malty, minimally malt-spicy, almost total lack of hoppy counterweight.

0.5 l bottle from ’Akzenta’ (Barmen), best before December 2016. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, very dense, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-floral, a bit fruity and minimally grainy aroma of fresh grass, some citrus and hints of grains. Sweetish, relatively grainy-malty, moderately grassy, slightly fruity and a bit floral taste of fresh grass, citrus and grains, followed by a short, moderately bitter, grassy and a bit dry finish. Thin to medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Rather average and simple but still refreshing and quite quaffable, not bad overall.

Golden color with small white head. Very malty aroma, too much. Taste is sweet grainy-malty, slight bitterness, a hint of hops. Crisp feeling but not refreshing enough for a Pils. Meh.

The beer starts smooth, grainy. Absolutely untypical for a Pils - more an Export. Smooth, grainy with hints of sweetness. This sweetness becomes even more dominant in the mainpart. Nearly no bitterness here. Only in the last part of the aftertaste there is a sharp bitterness. But the sweetness lies all over the brew.
For a Pils not good, for an Export not too bad. 7/11/8/7

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares dunkel goldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, hopfig, getreidig. Geschmack malzig fruchtig, hopfig, blumig, getreidig.

Bottle. Pale hazy green, white lace. Hayish, light grassy aroma. Slightly chalky, hayish malt base, a bit mealy, some spice and perfume. Medium light dusty body, mellow mouthfeel. Some nice hop aromatics in the aftertaste, but overall not as crisp as I would like.

Herber, wenig hopfiger Antrunk mit dumpfer milder Würzigkeit. Ansonsten rund, leider wenig aromatisch. Zum Ende etwas hopfiger, rund, mild. 11/9/9/9/9/9

(swing top bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Grainy and slightly bready malty aroma with flowery and slightly herbal hops. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, quite light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly bready and delicately grainy pale malt-character with flowery hops from the middle part, lingering into the bitter-sweet finish, accompanied by grainy and slightly juicy malty notes. Pleasant. 31.X.13
