Fat Lizard’s take on a German classic.
Actually a North Rhine-Westphalian classic, just like the federal highway 59.
Golden yellow in color, fruity flavors from the yeast and Mandarina Bavaria hops. Warm fermented with a top-fermenting yeast, then lagered.

(Can, 0.44 l - canned on 06.05.2021 - BB 06.01.2022, from a supermarket, 20210520) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, herbalness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had herbalness, malts and bitterness.. A pleasant grassy brew with strong malty notes.

44cl can from local shop. Poured copper color with a white head. Malty caramel aroma, bready and slightly sweet. Dry and fairly bitter, drinks well. Not Kölsch like at all, but still a tasty red ale kinda brew.
